Meet Eesh. She was backpacking around Central America when I met her, and I convinced her to try cycling with me along the Trans Mexico bikepacking route! We bought the strongest, most capable bike for the lowest cost – as well as some camping gear from Walmart – and hit the road.
This documentary balances lots of tips and tricks for beginners, with the story of a girl who has almost zero experience on a bike, other than a day cycling around San Francisco. It was a really fun experience fast-tracking her from a complete novice, to someone who can now conduct her own epic bike journeys across continents! I hope others’ can learn a lot from our experience together.
This film is more of a ‘documentary style’ than my others, narrated with interviews along the way. I’ve been working on it for weeks, and I love the result. You’ll need to set aside 30-minutes to watch it in its entirety.
